Diana and her family own a small home in Oakland, CA. Their backyard had a cinderblock garage that was falling down, so they decided to make a better use of the space and converted it into a tiny house! They built out a dreamy guest house for when friends and family visit and use the tiny home as an Airbnb for additional income. Within four years it had already paid for itself. They plan to continue to use it as an Airbnb while they're children are young and then allow their kids to use it as a homework/hangout space when they get a little older. It's so amazing how many functions one tiny space can have for a family and what an incredible way to create multiple streams of income. Check out the full tour of Rockridge Casita below.

The Rockridge Casita is so inviting with its large glass French doors.

The California coastal styling and abundance of natural light makes the space feel organic, light, and larger than it actually is.
